    Job Description

    We are looking for extremely competent ‘C’ software engineers with at least 2 years experience who also have knowledge of at least one of the following areas:

    • WINNT/95/CE kernel level development
    • Networking (TCP/IP, HDLC, PPP, L2TP, etc)
    • Comms (ISDN, GSM, UMTS, PSTN)

    In addition, knowledge of one or more of the following would be a bonus:

    • Visual C++ / MFC
    • QA procedures
    • ETSI standards
    • SoftIce

    The next generation of mobile phones is going to provide high speed (64K and greater) access to the internet, and the line between phones and palmtop computers is blurring. Our mobile access product range already enables people to connect to their office or ISP from their laptop or home machine over a variety of channels including GSM, HSCSD, GPRS, ISDN and PSTN.

    We’re now developing products specifically designed for that next generation of high speed access. Consequently, the development environment encompasses kernel level application, hardware devices, Win32 client/server applications, network protocols and telecoms protocols. The work is extremely challenging and very rewarding. The opportunities to learn and develop your skill set are tremendous.
