Brand Communications Opens Sales and R&D Office in Spain

Leading Mobile Data and Remote Access Company Expands to serve its growing European Customer Base

Huntingdon, UK, 14th January 2002

Mobile Data Specialists - Brand Communications today announced its latest expansion plans with the opening of a new office in Granada, Spain, to support expanding sales and research and development in Europe. The Spanish sales team will be led by Mr. Rafael Martos has been appointed as the new central European Sales Manager and will be responsible for expanding the overall sales activities of Brand Communications and its Apollo-based family of mobile data and remote access products in the European market place.

Mr. Maximo Martin has also been appointed as Development Manager based at the new Spanish office. Maximo is responsible for the Spanish development engineers and for the continuing development of Brand's product range and in particular the new SMS and XML platforms. His team will be working closely with the Brand development teams currently located in England and Germany.

"Their extensive knowledge of the Spanish telecom and corporate markets and their commercial contacts in Europe will prove a very real asset in helping us establish a stronger presence in those territories.

Prior to joining Brand Communications, Rafael Martos and Maximo Martin both worked for Civista. The Civista product range and all global rights, which include solutions for businesses to deliver content and applications from any source to any wireless device using XML, were purchased by Brand in 2001.
