Apollo is the product name given to the Brand range of Session Management products.

The Brand resilient data architecture is based on a client server model and comprises of a session management access server - Apollo Anywhere Server - and or a switched circuit server - Apollo Access Server - together with a client software stack - Apollo Emulator.

The relationship achieved between these components permit high end-to-end real time compression, encryption, call management, recovery in the event of an interruption in data flow or a dropped call in dial up connection. These solutions have been installed in many corporate environments where they are used for fixed and mobile access, positioning and real time true LAN extension. As it is a LAN extension, many if not all the capabilities available to the user on the LAN become available on the WAN irrespective of bearer type and location. The global roaming feature enables secure access to data from anywhere and through any bearer mechanism including access through local dial or over internet access.

Also in the Brand Apollo range are two products aimed at the SME market - Apollo Mobility Server Lite and Apollo Evolution. These solutions are helping the smaller enterprise mobilise their workforce and allowing them access to information when and where they need it.
