Why Evolution?

The Apollo Evolution is not just a remote access server. It is a remote access service platform for the corporate and small enterprise which combines many areas of LAN and mobile working with the use of GSM.

The Evolution can accommodate anything from a single modem, through ISDN, Satellite, multiple primary rate ISDN interfaces with dynamic V.110, GSM V.110, V.120, GSM , HSCSD, V.90 and PSTN. This flexibility allows the business to merge all their communications into one seamless solution which is capable of growing with the business needs.

The Evolution will simply and securely extend the LAN including all applications to anybody equipped with an Apollo Emulator (Client Software) and a portable device such as a laptop.

Session Management

Brand's technology maintains the session whist only making calls when there is either data to be sent or received. The user simply logs onto the solution once in the morning, and from there the Apollo session manages the user, giving them a virtual all day connection. Apollo sends and receives IP packets, if there are no packets to be sent or received Apollo transparently disconnects the line.

Call Recovery

Call Recovery removes the need for the users to reconnect after dropped calls or indeed to re-transmit any of the information again. If the line disconnects in the middle of the transfer, Apollo simply holds the information in place, tells the device to re-establish the connection and on doing so continues to send the information from exactly where it left off. All this takes place without user intervention.

Compression

Apollo increases the transmission speeds with its unique compression algorithm, this significantly speeds up the transferal of information.

Security

Apollo ensures secure network access is provided at all times, offering the highest level of security using authentication protocols.
